Interesting. I've had something that feels like it almost could be a sore throat for the last couple of days. It's not quite in the right area though, nor does it's in the throat itself. It feels like it's outside of the neck. I really hope it's just from listening to multiple people in real line and on life describe some infection they had to me.  If this is a psychic power, I will give it to anyone else who wants it.

Well, my illness — all the way out here in Seattle — doesn't have the sore throat of the illness my houseguest had last weekend. Just the runny nose, stuffed sinuses, and headaches most often associated with a cold.

I'm being a little silly here, of course. It's been a busy week and one that seems to have caused high fatigue levels. (I'm also dealing with a lot of brain fog. I assume an increased gabapentin dosage is responsible.)

In the recent past, I've had to deal with finding out my general practitioner moved to Philadelphia, that I have elevated thyroid antibodies, going through the initial SSI interview, finding out I needed two more weeks off of work, and going through the DFR's paperwork requirements for the food stamp renewal. Most of this required small trips around town, thank goodness. As usual, a lot of these things didn't need to stress me out as much as they did.

On the other hand, it could be a goiter.

Do you have unexplained swelling on the front of your neck?

I'm sure it's fine. I've been doing the thing I typically do and reading as much as I can about thyroid conditions, even though that the elevated levels mean nothing by themselves. As far as knowing if something's swollen, it feels like it's swollen, but I'm not particularly good at judging swelling.
