I was fat shaming, I think. Or at least trying to tell her that exercise is good for her as well, and if I don't mind walking on most days, she shouldn't either. There are days when I feel like I *need* the handicapped parking spaces, but I've been avoiding getting the placard. Partly because this would be an admission that I am disabled. (Yes, I know. I am *disabled.* I've had this discussion with myself many times. Stubbornness is not known to easily give up ground to logic.)
As much as I dislike what the GOP is doing, I think things would be *much* better if even someone as extreme as Cruz had won over Donald Trump. At least Cruz, even though he was an outsider, would not try to make such extreme changes. On the other hand, I know a lot of people who are either going to die or suffer a lot more from their disabilities if expanded Medicaid gets repealed. (I happen to be one of them.)
