I agree with you about not wanting to get into arguments anymore with your roommate. Though something occurred to me — well two things — a. if *she's* the one saying that walking is hurting *her* (even if it doesn't hurt you), then why doesn't *she* apply for a disabled parking permit for herself instead of asking you to get one for you? And b. why don't you believe her that walking will hurt her?
And yeah, beautifully said about standing up to 45, his cronies, and most of the rest of the GOP.
