It's not the first time I've been through something like this, and this time it's *much* easier. Plus, there's no real religious dogma or indoctrination involved. It is a good thing to re-evaluate beliefs from time to time. It is not going to be easy. I know another Pennsylvania who moved to Georgia who went through the same process. The process is healthy, if somewhat difficult.
It's a mix of factors leading me to this. Some may even have something to do with spending a year without insurance and finding out the ACA wasn't all that affordable for me. Fortunately, I applied early enough for the Healthy Indiana Plan. (Good thing I didn't need it or anything during the first six months of that year...*)
But even now, I'm living with someone. I doubt I'd make enough money to live on my own. No one, however, lives without some help. Even my sister, who would point out her independence, would not be where she is without her husband.
*At least it didn't turn out to be anything really scary.
It's okay
