I completely agree with you!!! Positivity is only a tool, and it only works for some spiritual issues. But overall, spirituality is often about learning to respond in a healthy way to *all* of what life foists upon you. It isn't usually healthy for most people to deny the reality of feelings like grief, anger, depression, diminishment, shame, or other unpleasant feelings. Most spiritual paths have some form of advice that people deal with these things honestly and compassionately, rather than pretending they aren't there or aren't happening.
