Torn cartilage? Maybe.
Nov. 18th, 2016 09:40 pm I had the follow-up visit with the orthopedist today. He thinks my wrist is getting better, and I hope he's right. I don't think my wrist has gotten any better, but I acknowledge the possibility I could be wrong. It may be worse for me because I type, and that aggravates it. I'm at least out of the short-arm fracture brace. That thing was a little well, heavy towards the end, and it made typing in my passwords difficult. I will have to go through an MRA on December 2 to make sure I didn't tear any cartilage. I'm hoping that it recovers between now and then, but if it doesn't, there's always the plus that it's costing Indiana a large amount of money. (I really should get over this attitude, but I think the state needs to adopt some less ableist policies. Then again, my petty vindictive attitude is the thing that can be most easily changed in this situation. I'lll admit I'm a little scared. I'm afraid it will be torn cartilage and require surgery. It's best not to worry about that for now. I'll know after the MRA is read.
I've got to finish up some projects for school, as well as turn in some late assignments I'd thought I'd turned in. I'll get to these as well as some TestOut labsims tomorrow. (I really wish Voc Rehab didnt' require me to be a full time student, but I will put up with this for as long as I am able. # more semesters to go after this one.
Right now, I am still waiting for an adapter. I really want to play with my Orange Pi single board pc a bit, but despite what the instructions said it can't be booted off a microUSB adapter.
