I'm sure my father is eagerly awaiting the Mormon heaven somewhere. I don't have the heart to point out that he and my mother are, according to the same doctrine, still eternally married to each other.

But I did have some small role in raising my nephew, as his father was absent for many years of his life. He and other family members used to confuse his pictures with mine. Except the years in question show me having strawberry-blonde hair, and he's always had dirty blonde hair.
