The thing is, the people they — the State of Indiana — describe as “able-bodied adults without dependents” are frequently *not* able-bodied at all but in fact people who have disabilities that prevent them from working and are unable to get disability benefits because of stingy programs that refuse to acknowledge the reality of said disabilities.
